What better way to spend beautiful San Francisco afternoon than sitting outside, look out at the bay, drink white wine and eat shellfish.
One thing I absolutely love is a brunch and where better than the land of Bay Brunches to try a typical Southern American brunch and therefore, with slightly less of a hangover on a Saturday than I should have, I set out in search of a brunch haven close to my hotel called Farmer Browns.
On day 2 in San Francisco, it was time to get my food truck on!
So here I am in San Francisco! So far, I’ve not really been eating out as the large portion sizes at breakfast mean that I’m not really having to eat again during the day but, like a muppet, I forgot my face cream which meant that I took a drip to Marina on Sunday and found Over The Moon.
So continuing the theme, another catch-up and another fantastic Sydney restaurant on Friday. This time, I headed to the Eastern suburbs to The Chiswick – a gastropub style restaurant hiding between Edgecliff and Bondi Junction.
My new office is based at Wynyard towards The Rocks… a notorious tourist trap and difficult to find a good eat in (from my memory anyway). I met a friend after work for dinner and a catch-up (there’ll be lots of those coming up) and was introduced to Cafe Nice, which is… nice.
As some of you know, there’s been a recent change in home for The Hungry Kitten – back to Sydney where it all began. When I left Sydney just over six years ago, while the produce was excellent, the level of restaurants and cafes particularly in suburbia weren’t quite of the level of London. On Saturday, a very dear friend of mine took me out to show me how that had all changed!
